In Response to Roahm's Question about the Holographic Megamen
0So RoahmMythril posed a question to his subscribers: Is there any way to humanly beat the Holographic Megamen boss from Megaman 3, buster only, no damage?
I've identified an AI quirk in this boss that might make a perfect run possible.
Still incredibly hard, but possible.
Jumping off screen causes the boss to shoot downwards, rather than upwards.
The main issues is getting the timing down and naturally, actually getting across the room. I've had no luck getting this strategy to work on the left side of the room, I suspect this is due to timing issues, so it might be possible.
The whole key to this idea behind this strategy is to get the Megamen to shoot specific volleys downwards, so you don't have to dodge them.
It's indeed possible to perfect run the Megadrive version, still difficult, but possible, as shown at the end of the video.
