You can't wipe out every zeds if situation gets worse. Your ability, ammo, and time is limited while specimen are running toward you to make you pieces of human flesh which can be useful, and delicious for them. You can't take them all, and they won't let you do that.
then, it's a matter of choice.
The server has custom modded difficulty, which is almost same in essential part with original Nam's server. But i noticed the spawn intensity is more than what i expected, and it was totally welcome to me.
If i can suggest one thing, it would be better if actual duration of Flashbang and Freeze granade is 1.5-2.0 sec. Single freeze nade can take out big zeds horde too easily, as they entangle them about 4 seconds. EMP doesn't paralyze zeds but it has less actual duration, which isn't fair.
