New inkscape 1.0 is finally here and no longer. First of all was intros native support for Mac OS requires XQuartz to operate, introuced the dark theme, users theme customization an multicolor icon set.
The latest release has added some new improvevements and new functionalities, such as:
- canvas now can be flipped and rotated
- new Split View Mode
- New Powerpencil functionality enables pressure sensitivity for the pencil tool;
- text now flows into the selected frames in selection order;
- unified Trace Bitmap dialog with Centerline Tracing option;
- boolean operations Live Path Effect;
- measure segments LPE
and many other improvements.
Inkscape is available now for free, for everyone, forever.
