Inkscape Tutorial for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS
I've been using Inkscape for a while now, so I decided to make a tutorial on it. Note that most of what I know I learned myself, and I mainly use Inkscape for art purposes, so my idea of what's useful or not might be different from yours.
Something I forgot to put in the video is how to change keyboard shortcuts. To do this, go to Preferences (which you can find either by going under Edit or with Ctrl+Shift+P), open Interface, then go to Keyboard Shortcuts. You can find the tools (e.g. bezier pen, rectangle tool, etc.) under Context, or you can just search for them in the Search bar. To change the keyboard shortcut, click on the shortcut (it'll be in the Shortcut column), then once it says "New Accelerator...", type in whatever you want the shortcut to be (e.g. if I want the Bezier Pen to be set to A, then I'll press A).
I encourage you to try out things on your own, but there's lots of tutorials out there that can help you out. I personally recommend this channel, which uploads Inkscape tutorials twice a week: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEQXp_fcqwPcqrzNtWJ1w9w
Programs used:
OBS (screen recording)
Inkscape (thumbnail and obviously the whole video)
Movie Maker (video editing)
Music: Across the Fluttering Dunes - Yoshi's Woolly World (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0b2fZ5M82A)
