Innovative 1x1 Pixel Display: Infinitely Expandable | Minecraft 1.12+/1.13+
I used a new technique I'm calling "Twisted pairs" to create a 24x36 (864 blocks) panel where each pixel can be toggled individually to form any kind of shape you want.
High resolution 1x1 Pixel Displays are not new in Minecraft but this one is innovative because it's more flexible than most allowing players to work locally instead of using a progressive full screen rendering algorithm.
A lamp version is also presented just as an example and I just realized I forgot to show a way to clear/reset the display other than re-sending the same data it toggled for previously :-p
