Inscryption is one of the finest gaming titles to come out in 2021. Part of what made this card game so immersive and memorable is the way in which it deploys two very different types of fear. In this video, I work to illustrate how each of these two broadly defined fears function. I'll let you be the judge of how well I succeed in this short video essay.
