Just when you thought it was safe to build yourself a deck, Inscryption comes to creep you out of doing so. Devolver Digital has found an amazing adventure told by a masked man and some printed paper.

WHAT I LIKE
The game is original. A piece that stands out of the crowd.
The story is compelling enough to keep you on your toes
The bosses and characters the masked man plays are tons of fun

WHAT NEEDS WORK
The constant RNG factor of the game wears you down. It seems like some runs are perfection, everything going right. Some runs are head in dirt, being beaten at every turn.
More ways to remove cards from my deck would be awesome. Constantly adding to the deck without a way to balance is rough

OVERALL
Easily one of my favorite games of the genre in so many years. Even if the catch and characters wear down after a while, it is a long while. The game keeps you hooked (hehe, fisherman) for well over your moneys worth. Get it to experience the whole story yourself.
