In this video, we take a deep dive into the global infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS). We start by understanding the concept of Availability Zones, which are physically separate data centres within a region that offer high availability and fault tolerance. We then move on to explore the concept of Regions, which are geographic locations containing multiple Availability Zones.
We'll take a look at how AWS has strategically placed their infrastructure across the world, allowing customers to deploy their applications and services closer to their end-users, resulting in lower latency and improved performance. We'll also discuss the benefits of using AWS Global Accelerator, a service that improves the availability and performance of applications by using static IP addresses and a global network of edge locations.
By the end of this video, you'll have a better understanding of how AWS's global infrastructure is designed to provide customers with high availability, fault tolerance, and low latency, allowing them to scale their applications and services with ease
