Insomniac Games Hacked
The breach was first reported after the Rhysida ransomware group claimed responsibility for hacking Insomniac, the developer behind Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The group allegedly obtained sensitive information about the upcoming Wolverine game and personal data of Insomniac staff. Cybersecurity news source Cyberdaily reported that Rhysida had released some data as proof, including screenshots from the Wolverine game, character art, and scans of staff passports.
TheCyberExpress reported that the hackers are demanding a ransom of 50 BTC (approximately $2 million) with a seven-day deadline, threatening to release more stolen data if not paid. #Gaming #Marvel #Wolverine
