Insurgency is a game I got for free in a Steam event a long while ago. Hate me or not for it, but I genuinely like it more than CS:GO because of it feeling both more real and more tactical.

Comparing this game and CS:GO is almost exactly like comparing World of Tanks and War Thunder, for example. One has health, the other is so realistic that one-shots are common.

I have yet to fully discover this game, but in the meantime, I'm having fun playing it. I haven't had this much fun in an FPS in a while.

The goal of Survival is to go to supply caches around the map and you don't start with much, but as you get to more caches, you can upgrade your loadouts and such.

There are waves of enemies and you can even set the difficulty which I had forgotten to do in this first episode showing this interesting game.
