In this video, I work on integrating a video editor component into the Glowing Telegram front-end using React. The video editor component, currently developed in its own repository, is being linked and incorporated into the main application. This process involves configuring npm link to work with local development, debugging issues related to imports and dependencies, and exploring tools like Rollup to package the library efficiently.

I discuss the overall project structure, including the relationship between streams, clips, and the project lifecycle, and how this new integration will help me with video selection and episode creation workflows. Along the way, I encounter and resolve some challenges, such as import issues, styling conflicts (like utilizing Tailwind CSS in specific parts), and setting up TypeScript builds to work seamlessly within this framework.

You'll also see me troubleshoot library builds, link component repositories, and refine the development process using tools like TypeScript, Rollup, and Vite. By the end of the stream, I successfully managed to render the video editor component into the app, test its functionality with dummy data, and confirm that it integrates with the overall workflow. This is a crucial step towards enabling a more streamlined process for selecting video segments and creating cohesive episodes.

If you're following along with similar projects or curious about working with interconnected React components and backend integrations, you'll find this session insightful and engaging.
