the first entry of Intel's 8 core Coffee Lake S has been found in the wild, it's unclear if this Coffee Lake S Intel 8 core CPU is an 8th or 9th generation processor, but it is running on an engineering board which is a Z390.

Xilinix have announced the first ACAP, which offers massive performance increases over the previous generation. According to the company, offers major performance advantages over CPUs while consuming less power and more customisable than a GPU.

Microsoft and AMD have revealed some details regarding their ray tracing support. It will have a backup software path that will run ray tracing on the generic GPU components on the current gen of graphics cards.
