Intel ARC Game Enhancer - Does it work? What does it do? Boost FPS in older DX9/DX10 titles?
In this video, we take a closer look at Intel ARC Game Enhancer, a program developed by JamesCJ60 that should help improve gaming performance on Intel ARC graphics cards in older titles. The program is designed to work with older DirectX versions such as DirectX 9 and DirectX 10, as well as some DX11 titles should also benefit with it.
But does it really work, and what's the cost?
If you're experiencing performance issues with older games such as the ones listed in Intel Arc Game Enhancer on an Intel ARC graphics card, this video will help you decide whether or not to give Intel ARC Game Enhancer a try.
For now what Intel Arc Game Enhancer does, is a easy solution to install DXVK for the games that are supported.
You can also try DXVK that aren't listed in Game Enhancer for Intel Arc by downloading the latest version here:
https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
Simple copy paste to the directory should make it work if the game likes this kind of implementation. I will be making a more detailed video on this in the future.
