In this video I want to show you the difference between stock cooler from Intel 12th generation meets AIO water cooling of closed type. For this purpose, I used an Intel Core i5-12500 processor with an Intel Laminar RM1 Cooler and EK-Nucleus AIO CR240 Lux D-RGB mounted in a Lian Li O11 AIR MINI case. All computer components can be seen after the description listed in a list. I did 7 tests in which you will see the difference in the temperature of the Intel Core i5-12500 processor in the two cooling methods. At the end of each test there is a graph with the maximum temperatures.
For the first test, I used the Cinebench R23 benchmark, in which the difference between the Intel Stock Cooler and the EK-Nucleus AIO CR240 Lux D-RGB is 24 °C degrees (Celsius) in favor of the EK-Nucleus. For the second benchmark, I used Blender 3.6.0 where the temperature difference was 25 °C degrees (Celsius).
I also created some gameplay tests. This time I used some popular titles like: Forza Horizon 5, Cyberpunk 2077, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Halo Infinite and Apex Legends. Again, at the end of each test between the Intel Stock Cooler and the EK-Nucleus AIO CR240 Lux D-RGB, I have graphed the maximum temperatures for each game.
For thermal paste, I used the stock one from EK.
