Alright, so Battlemage has been a huge success and especially the Intel Arc B 580 is a really impressive graphics card if you can buy it. However, it looks like Intel might be doubling down on their GPUs very soon and in fact, it looks like the long rumored and potentially canceled flagship GPU might just be back.
And today we're going to go over all those rumors as well as when you might be able to purchase it. So this information actually first popped up over on videocards.com and it looks like yes indeed, quote, Intel is still working on BGM-G31 GPU. Now, if you don't know, that's actually the code for their flagship GPU, the one that should be giving a spanking to both Nvidia as well as AMD in terms of price to performance in the range that you guys are probably waiting for because you probably want something like a 5070 or 5080 competitor.
Well, depending on the final performance, we might be talking about just that for a fraction of the cost while still giving you excellent rate tracing and 16 gigabytes of VRAM.
