Interrupt Update 7-12-25 | Progress Report + Case & PCB Revisions
38In this update, we walk through the latest developments for the Interrupt device! We’ve made solid progress across the board — from the enclosure design to firmware planning and PCB layout.
This week’s highlights:
• 📦 Updated case model (with port provisions for RPi Zero)
• 🖨 ️ STEP file now available for early 3D printing
• ⚙ ️ Base OS feature planning and firmware structure
• 📡 PCB design tweaks including NFC, IR, and Sub-GHz RF support
• 🧠 Dev Board target set for end of July
The STEP file is live so you can test fit and print a rough case if you’re building along. The firmware is still in early discussion stages, but we’re shaping out a modular, open-source-ready foundation. PCB planning is going strong and we’re narrowing down on final part selections.
