In this talk, I will discuss how I, a pure mathematician, established the charity Hometown Education Foundation and how this program impacts on poor kids on their basic education and how it works to make sure that 100 percent of the donation goes to the needy students. I will also discuss how we encourage the poor kids move forward instead of dependence. A little support makes a real difference to the poor kids who have so little. *Please Note: This presentation is given in Mandarin, however the slides are in English.
