Interstellar Space: Genesis - A New Adventure - Let's Preview
15Welcome to Interstellar Space: Genesis (formerly Project Space Sector) my friends. This is a new Master of Orion 2-inspired 4X from the folks at the former space game blog, Space Sector. They've decided to embark on a new adventure from game journalism to game creation, and it feels as if their years of experience in looking at space games will be a big benefit. In this entry, we start a new game in a small galaxy to keep things moving, and move they do. While much is still missing from the game, my favorite element -- exploration -- is quite alive and well. There are multiple levels of exploration requiring sector scans and survey ships, so the aspect of discovery is ongoing. Ship design and combat seem fairly fun, and colony management and research are fairly different from other games. Overall there's a LOT to like here, and I can't wait to see how the game gets fleshed out. Thanks for watching!
