We created meaning, not vice-versa. If we choose to become slaves of it, well, that's OUR problem. One becomes slave of meaning when they become too identified with it. Identification means you feel you are one with something you have accumulated. What one breathes in, what one eats, what one puts in as emotions from others... each of these are separate from what one is. Separate from their body. If one says "I am one with my breath", that means one is fully conscious of HOW they breathe, not that they identify with what they breathe in :)
