If we all are fond of video games, more or less, why not try seeing problems in life as something that is supposed to CHALLENGE us and also help us level up? May sound silly, but instead of investing our energy into our own misery, or even that of others, why not focus on how to transcend this misery. Misery never allows a clear mind, while a clear mind always allows quick solving of probl- ... I mean CHALLENGES! ^^

But in the meantime, don't lose yourself to this! Wouldn't be too hard!
