After being called by an old acquaintance, it soon becomes evident that things are not what they seem. Was this all just involving Grabinski, or has the Observer been set up too?

Eighteen months after their previous title, Bloober Team again partnered with Aspyr Media, Inc., in the release of Observer, on August 15, 2017. A cyberpunk survival horror game taking many visual cues from Layers of Fear, the protagonist is voiced by actor Rutger Hauer, a type of futuristic police investigator.
Controls are very similar to Layers of Fear, with some differences. W, A, S, and D again control movement, with Left Ctrl used for crouching; Left Shift for running; and Page Up/Page Down for looking up and down. LMB/Spacebar is used to interact; MMB is used to check your status and synchronize (explained below), or to hack a computer; and RMB is used to zoom. This slight modification is to facilitate other keys used for various technologies used: E for electromagnetic vision, Q for biometric vision, and F is for night vision.
The year is 2084. After a world war between East and West, a rich corporation known as Chiron stepped in to offer control by forming the 5th Polish Republic. Interrupted during a check-in, investigator Daniel Lazarski (known as "an Observer") receives a transmission from Adam Grabinski, a former acquaintance, located now in a run-down apartment complex called "the Stacks". Upon arriving in the apartment, he finds more questions than answers. Adding to the stress is a lock-down initiated on the Stacks. Fortunately, Lazarski has a solution to stress: a drug called Synchrozine. Let's play Observer to see what a dystopic future can hold.
