WWDC 2011 is going to focus heavily on improvements to iOS. The operating system that swept the market in 2007 has gone largely unchanged these last few years. Although highly regarded, iOS needs some serious work to keep pace with competitors such as webOS and android. Apple must improve notifications in iOS 5 if they expect to remain competitive in 2011 and beyond.
