iPhone 16 cases show rumored vertical camera bump
The first cases for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have been leaked, revealing a new camera design for the non-Pro models. The leaked cases show two separate rings for the two cameras, arranged vertically in a pill-shaped raised surface, with the LED flash array centered to the right of the camera bump. This new design is reminiscent of the iPhone X and is said to enable spatial video recording.
In addition to the new camera design, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are rumored to borrow the Action Button from the iPhone 15 Pro, as well as the pressure-sensitive Capture button that is also expected for the iPhone 16 Pro. However, it is important to note that it is still early in the iPhone design cycle, and changes may occur before the anticipated September release.
