iPhone 6S vs. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus - Which Is Faster?
3,716Another speed test of the Apple iPhone 6S, this time with a high-end Samsung device, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. We conducted the first speed test for the iPhone 6S with the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. So let’s check out if the Apple device can beat the Samsung.
The iPhone 6S is running iOS 9.0.2, the latest iOS version and the S6 Edge + is running Android Lollipop 5.1.1. The first thing we noticed is that the iPhone 6S has a really good startup time, even better than the high end Samsung phones. Opening up the play store on S6 Edge + and the app store on the S6 showed that the latter lagged slightly behind while the Android play store opened up faster.
As the next step we also covered an internet speed test by running the same app on both the devices. The upload and download speeds were higher on the Galaxy S6 Edge+ more than the Apple iPhone 6S. Something that was noticed on the iPhone 6S is that its home screen button seems to have a small issue.
