iPhone 6S vs. 6 Plus vs. 6 vs. 5S vs. 5 vs. 4S vs. 4 - Benchmark Speed Test!
692If you watched my previous video on a startup speed test of Apple iPhones from iPhone 4 to iPhone 6S, you might find this video interesting. We conducted a benchmark speed test between iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 +, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S and iPhone 4.
The devices have different RAM capacities; 2GB in the 6S, 1GB from iPhone 6 to 5 and 500MB in the 4S and 4. The benchmark test was conducted in all the 7 phones with the Geekbench mobile app. The first to give the result was the iPhone 6S of which the test finished fastest. Then the rest of the devices gave results in order from newest to the oldest.
While the iPhone 6S gave amazingly high single and multi-core scores, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus gave a single core score which was almost half of the 6S’. Multi core scores of these 2 devices were also lower than the score given by the 6S. iPhone 5S although lower than 6 and 6+, gave quite closer scores to them.
iPhone 5 had single and multi-core scores that were around half of that given by the 5S. The 4S and iPhone 4 were only able to show a single core score that is around 22 times lower than the iPhone 6S. The multi core scores of those 2 devices were also extremely low.
