Most want access - they want to remain in apple's good graces, being invited to events
Does it sound like all the others? Rare exceptions
Answers: Does function follow form or vice versa?
Only focused on hardware
Gloss over iOS software slop (again)
Only focused on "latest" label
Photo/Video comparisons to previous gen
No / little mention of the sensor array
Suggesting that the sensor array melts away - subjective
Real world experiences?
How does the screen, itself, compare to others at other price points
Usability tests (unlocked while on desk, slid over)
Discussion of Usability changes ("Reachability")
ANY Discussion of software - not just what's new
Not challenging inconsistent Human Interface Guidelines - you have to embrace the notch, but why not embrace the blackness of the Apple Watch?
Is Face ID demonstrably better / more convenient than Touch ID
Careful throwing out the word 'biased' and 'sheep' - it could be that they're just not very skilled at being accurate and complete
Don't look for reviews that only justify your purchasing decision
Has the author discounted other devices for egregious flaws?
Heralding this as amazing, the future, best one yet
Who was in charge of this product: the customer or marketing? SnazzyLabs pointed this out as well - and there's a great Steve Jobs video about this problem.
