Iron Angel or "Tetsujin" is a Japanese game that was translated and subtitled in the U.S. a few months later. Dubbed an ARPM (Action Roleplaying Movie), you are beckoned by a mad-genius scientist to come to where he resides atop a giant tower to finish his creation. You see, you the player, as Tetsujin, are a killing machine created by the scientist to destroy humanity because it is the scientist's belief that mankind has taken too long to reach a higher plane of existence.
He believes that the ultimate evolutionary stage and next step for humanity is to become like his Iron Angel creation, but it's missing one component; a mind equivalent or greater than that of a human.
As you are tested by the tower, you will meet an android who makes you more aware of your purpose and why you were made. Do you want to destroy humanity? Only time will tell. The big problem with this game is that it's slow and offers major ZZZs. The sequel is better. Enjoy.
