Rise of the Robots Game Sample - 3DO

I got this game many years ago, before I even had a 3DO, for free... the disc has "free game" scribbled all over it... and yet I still feel like I got ripped off. RotR is a notorious fighting game that is generally universally panned and considered one of the worst fighters out there. It is also one of those games that really brings forth phrases like "All flash, no substance", "All graphics, no substance", "All looks, no substance", and things of that nature.
The game was hyped somewhat before its release and released on several platforms, but it's practically just a crappy movie on a disc with terrible interactive bits and no gameplay worth talking about. All the opponents can be beaten with the same terrible strategy sans the final boss (the "Supervisor" I believe), which just requires more careful attacks to beat. The game basically flows like this: Start Game, watch slow movie sequence, watch another slow movie sequence, watch possibly another slow sequence, fight opponents with terrible A.I., repeat. The opponents have pretty cool "fatalities" of sorts if they beat you, especially the Supervisor, but there's practically nothing to this game. It has an almost as bad sequel too, which is mind-boggling. I think this was made by the same people who made "Theater of Pain", and that was much better.
