But now, there's a growing sentiment amongst creators of hit shows that the time has come to end the practice altogether. Binge culture has buried some of the shows that used to benefit from it. Compare the weekly enthusiasm for Marvel Studio's X-Men '97 to Amazon Prime's Fallout TV series. Social media raves about one, and while they loved Fallout as well, as time goes on the audience will be on to someone new.
