Command & Conquer: Renegade is the black sheep of the Command & Conquer series. It was many things, Westwood's last CNC game, their first FPS, and something of a vanguard for a new series of games that would help usher them into the next generation of action games. And while that didn't turn out the way they might have hoped, Renegade remains as an intriguing piece of gaming history, that has a small but dedicated fanbase which persists to this day.
