Yes, it is 100% ethical in this god forsaken economy that we are living in. I don't know why anyone in their right mind would want to make an argument on the contrary of that position.

To make a long story short, the ethicist is saying that used-bookstores or vintage-record shops play a role in preserving art and bringing enthusiasts together. I bought used books myself. You're talking about this from the cultural preservation and creativity perspective, but people want to know whether it's ethical.
Then again, ethics is a matter of subjective opinion I guess, right? I mean some might argue that it's unethical to sell used goods because the artists don't get royalties. You talked about this, but your response to that is just, "Nah, that's just how the creative work goes." Okay, so the answer is yes, then?
