Is Starfield DEAD?
52Starfield lost A LOT of players after its launch! Does this mean Starfield is a DEAD GAME that Bethesda should GIVE UP on? NOPE - all the articles and media surrounding Starfield's player numbers are WRONG! Starfield is ACTUALLY doing BETTER than you might think...
There's been much discussion surrounding Starfield's player numbers on Steam and whether or not Bethesda will give up on Starfield, with many critics saying that Starfield is a DEAD game. I think they are wrong. Starfield is NOT a DEAD game but rather a perfect example of a single player game losing a normal number of players after launch.
Obviously, when Starfield mods get released or when Bethesda releases Starfield's FIRST BIG DLC players will return to the game, but for now, Starfield is sitting at around 20,000 players on Steam and that's perfectly fine...
Afterall, who REALLY cares about a single player game's player count? Who ACTUALLY cares if Starfield's players are dropping?
