Is the Google Pixel 10 Pro really better than the iPhone? #shorts
Is the Google Pixel 10 Pro better than an iPhone?
Everyone's saying so, I tested it, and I'm going to give you my opinion.
I've been testing it for a week, and I have three points I'll come back to.
The first is the camera.
So, you should know that the camera is the Pixel's strong point, and in my opinion, the Pixel 10 Pro is better than the iPhone 16 Pro almost every time.
The magic of this phone is that you take a photo, you look at it, it's not very good, you wait five seconds, and suddenly, it's magnificent because there's great software processing that only Google knows how to do.
On the other hand, and here I'm going to make a small but important point about the zoom, Google has a somewhat bizarre idea: using generative AI to improve the zoom.
Basically, I zoom in to 80x, take a photo, and instead of leaving it blurry, it generates an image that looks like it would be if it were sharp, which often happens, well, it's a mess.
Look, I zoomed in on Ousmane Dembélé, it doesn't look like Ousmane Dembélé at all, and most of the results are catastrophic, especially the panels with the test, it's a mess.
The second cool thing about the phone is the battery, the charging, and particularly slow.
In terms of the battery, for me, it's better than the iPhone today, largely because it heats up much less, which means you can use it longer without the brightness dropping, and with a phone that will, uh, last better over a day when it's under heavy use. And the really cool thing that makes this a product that will appeal to iPhone owners for the first time is the magnetic charging support on the back.
Google calls it Pixel Snap, Apple calls it MacSafe, the standard is called 2, call it what you want.
I don't care, but the idea is that you'll have magnetic charging that will work with the phone.
That means that all the accessories you have on Amazon, in stores that are for the iPhone, work with the Pixel.
So you don't even need to change the accessory, that's not bad.
And finally, the real thing that I think would really make me hesitate to switch from the iPhone to the Pixel if I were in this situation is, uh, the new software.
There, I won't tell anyone.
Siri isn't great, Apple intelligence isn't great.
And even if Apple has good intentions, they're not at all ready to compete with GPT Chat and Google Gemini.
And with this phone, you have Gemini built in, you'll be able to circle anything on the screen to do a reverse search.
You'll be able to get suggestions in your apps when someone asks you a question.
You'll have a camera that tells you what to do, like, if I take a photo, it'll tell me to get a little closer, it'll be better if you move a little to the right, and so on. There are plenty of new features like that that make the Pixel 10 Pro feel like a phone of the present, whereas the iPhone, if you don't install GPT Chat on it, well, it's a bit out of date.
So to answer the question, should you ditch your iPhone for the Pixel 10 Pro?
The answer is why not, especially if you're tired of the iPhone.
Obviously, Apple's biggest fans will stick with the iPhone, and they're right, I'm not saying one is better than the other.
On the other hand, if you're looking for a change, the Pixel 10 Pro is solid.
The price is €1,099, which is almost the same as an iPhone 16 Pro.
