73The Overseer is the non-magical lynchpin of your armies, there to stand directly along the path of lesser races yelling "STOP!!" - but in a language they won't understand, so they try to walk all over him. Results vary wildly on whether you're doing it with a Mammoth or not.
Well the point is that he brings an army with him to sort things out, and he's buffing that army, reducing upkeep, cracking the whip to get Hobgoblins in line... and so on. And a few cannons and rocket launchers never hurt.
