Is The Tower of Druaga a precursor to The Legend of Zelda?
0A video about a theory of mine, between two different 1980s games that contain a sword/shield-wielding hero, named Gil and Link, respectively. I had been wondering for years that the challenging '84 Namco arcade The Tower of Druaga could possibly be an inspiration for the original Legend of Zelda that was released two years later by Nintendo on the NES, due to the two heroes fought through dangerous dungeons to take down their nemesis Druaga and Ganon, and save Ki and Zelda, respectively, while obtaining many items to make it through. Then again, I don't know, but I personally believe this might be true, considering their similarity. What do you think if you played both games?
