Bootstrap Island might be the most REALISTIC VR survival game so far and if it keeps dropping updates like this one it could be one of the BEST VR survival games out there! Bootstrap Island has always been a very hardcore VR survival game, ever since it launched into early access it's been throwing players into it's VR desert island location and leaving them to figure out how to survive, but it just got even harder with it's most recent update... the game now has a brand new BOSS encounter that you can attempt if you think you've got what it takes! Somewhere deep within the jungle players can now find a giant angry ape who is more than ready to challenge your VR survival skills, seriously this monkey means business and if you show up without a stockpile of the very best gear he will make you regret you ever ventured into his domain. It's great to see one of the best PCVR games in recent memory continuing to evolve and grow through early access, this first boss is a great step towards giving players more reason to keep playing and to push themselves for longer survival streaks to unlock better gear. Bootstrap Island might be a VR survival game but it's also a VR roguelike with tools, consumables and even weapons to unlock based on how long you can survive. Each new run brings new threats and a new chance to face this VERY ANGRY MONKEY...
