Is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 the ULTIMATE VR FLIGHT SIM? // 4090 PCVR Gameplay
703Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is FINALLY working after a week of loading screens and not being able to access any of the actual content but is this the best VR flight simulator? Does it improve on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 in any meaningful way for VR users? These are just my Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 VR impressions, there's so much content here that it would take a much longer period of time to create a review and there are frankly tonnes of bugs and issues in the game at the moment BUT the experience available is still awe inspiring and one of the best looking VR games you can play on PC despite the rough edges. Streaming assets, environments and locations instead of just installing them on your local drive/PC seems to result in more locations (particularly city locations) looking a little more jagged, low detail and underwhelming than they did in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 but the more natural vistas like Yosemite, Mt Everest and other countryside locations offer some of the most realistic VR graphics you can hope to find. Pair that with the orchestral soundtrack and you'll often find yourself experiencing the most memorable VR moments imaginable, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 VR comes together at times to form one of the best VR games ever but I'd say in it's current state it's hard to recommend over Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which is a much more stable experience.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is available now on Steam, Xbox and via Xbox Gamepass (which is how I played it and how I'd recommend all players to try it out at this stage).
