In the last few years many high-profile Unreal Engine 5.x powered games have suffered from serious performance issues, including the just released Borderlands 4. This has garnered UE 5 a bit of a reputation for being slow. Of course, it isn't, but there are certainly some performance issues to be aware of. In this video we look at what those issues are and what Epic Games are (hopefully) doing to solve them.
