We play the downloadable "game" that many think should have been a pack-in title, and judge it accordingly.
Lots of previous Nintendo consoles have included games or game demos — digital pack-ins such as Mario Kart World on Nintendo Switch 2 notwithstanding. Wii had Wii Sports which people played for years afterward, and Wii U had NintendoLand, which was a collection of entertaining mini games that admittedly weren't played much after launch. And, to be fair, Nintendo Switch didn't come with anything at all, but the Breath of the Wild: Special Edition almost made it feel as though it did.
Welcome Tour is much more than a digital pamphlet, but where does it fall between Wii Sports NintendoLand? Let's find out.
