SMITE Update 9.8 is the release patch for Ishtar, the next Babylonian hunter. SMITE Patch 9.8 also comes with a sort of Duel rework that separates it more from Joust. Additionally, the Earring items see massive changes. Sphinx's Bauble is now a more damage-focused mage item, Griffonwing Earrings might finally (too?) good and Fae Blessed Hoops have insane stats now. Even Manticore's Spike gets wayyy better than before. This patch also changes many mage pen items and increases the power of many power-focused assassin items. Anti-heal gets normalized to 5 seconds across the board. Support items can be bought at level 15 again.
