A WW1 FPS games set from 1914 to 1918 with weapons include pistols, rifles, melee, machine guns, and other experimental weapons.

Ahhhh... it's good to back in this broken WW1 game and I'm still disapointed. Like Jesus Christ, Blackmill Games didn't listen to me and they aren't get any better. Sure the new map Piave is really beautiful yet bad optimization, but my god the game gotten worse when I came back from 3 months of not touching this game since December 2022 and, aside from a new map, they didn't to my advice from my last Caporetto video. Ah well. We'll get to reason why Isonzo guns are become more broken than ever.

Like I said from my previous comparsion video, Verdun and Tannenberg are goat. Both of them did a great job. But I have feelings for Tannenberg the most because it grew my channel and is where I get my inspiration for my avatar. I wanted Isonzo to be good. But when it came out, everything goes wrong. The content is lacking, guns are glitching in and out, maps are notoriously hard, and limited factions. The worst part about this game is those damn greedy DLCs eating our pockets. Fuck them. But leaving all the bad side, the shooting, the map design, and historical accracy is really good. Everything else need a serious fix and, if they don't, I'll keep slamming them hard. Now that I finished my whiny rant, let's get to weapons.

When I said back then that Isonzo is a big improvement, I only said the shooting and aimming is the best. They felt realistic and have weight. Yes, they even included tatical reload, sometimes. But I was wrong that Isonzo weapon reload animations has gotten worse! Like most of the pistols have bad sound sync like what the hell? German rifles are just bad. They changed the reloads only to make them even more glitchier. I get it, the devs are tired of pulling out the rifle clips in favor of just slamming the bolt, but it doesn't work shit. Italian and Austrian rifles just work fine so they get a point for it. But somehow, they broke the Madsen recoil.

TL:DR They didn't fix the German machine gun. FUCK. THEY BETTER INCREASE THE AMMO SIZE. I'M TIRED OF THOSE DEV IGNORING MY REQUEST.

Yeah I had to make a one short paragraph for that one gun since YouTube doesn't like my essays. So I got my little vent off. So let's talk about Verdun and Tannenberg weapons. Consider they both use the same engine, I'll refer to both. Aside from snappy shooting mechanic and cannot tatical reload, these game are more polished than Isonzo. They work and don't glitch out. It's old game, but at least it has so many experimental weapons and it's cool to see them in a World War 1 game. I get that Isonzo tries to be realstic, but I think they should have keep the engine from Verdun and Tannenberg instead make it more badly optimized. Otherwise I sense they're bad at coding. Anyways all three games are different. Verdun is more trench fighting, Tannenberg is almost like Battlefield conquest but no tanks, and Isonzo is conquest assault which that's unpopular way to kill a game. I don't like. Offensive mode is more like Frontlines, but only one side gets to push. I much rather have Verdun's frontline better. Maybe even, at least, try to add tanks in their next game. So yeah. I guess people are right about having three games split apart is a bad idea.

Honestly, my opinion for Isonzo has changed into something more negative and that's the most blunt thing I can say. It's sad that a nice looking game turned into a greedy no content glitch feast game and it makes me sad. I once said Isonzo wins for weapon animations, but not anymore. I'm afraid I'll give my hats off to Verdun and Tannenberg because they're polished. Isonzo, while realstic shooting, needs a lot of work. Please Blackmill Games, fix this game I love.

If I miss anything, let me know down the comment as usual.
