In this episode of Stardew Valley, I continued my quest to reach level 120 in the mines. Equipped with my new Crabshell Ring for +5 defense and Roots Platter for +3 attack, I started at level 30, which was a dark and dingy dungeon theme. It turned to an underground forest theme starting at level 40. I claimed my prize at the Adventure’s Guild next door for the Slime Charmer Ring, which prevents damage from slimes. I mined plenty of radioactive ore and exploded dozens of bombs to gather enough stone to complete Robin’s Resource Rush quest.

Unfortunately, I got the "nauseated" debuff that prevented me from eating food, and I was taking heavy damage from the enemies, causing me to leave the mines early at level 65. I tested my new Slime Charmer Ring at my Slime Hutch, and spent the next morning making preparations for the Feast of the Winter Star event.

At the event, I chatted with all the townspeople, including Leo, which I think is the first time he celebrated the Feast of the Winter Star. I gifted Gus a silver star Orange, his favorite, which initiated a cutscene where Linus gifted me blackberry cobbler - yum! I left the event after the cutscene ended and quickly made my way back to the mines to make more progress.

I couldn't afford to miss any progress in the mines when the quest ends in just a few more days. I started at level 66 and aimed to make it down to level 75 before the end of the night, which I easily attained. After leaving the mines to head home, I barely made it to bed in time before passing out.

The next morning, I discovered that I had obtained a Galaxy Soul from the mines, something that I thought could only be bought at Mr. Qi's shop. I made my way back to the mines and aimed to reach level 120 before the end of the day. I took my time on the final push and reached level 120, discovering a mysterious shrine with a note from Mr. Qi. I'll have to come back tomorrow to see what happens...

After checking in on my farm animals, I went to bed, but not before my lava eels left me 5 spicy eel which would come in handy for future Skull Cavern runs. Overall, it was a productive day filled with mining, socializing, and even some mystery.
