IT'S A TRAP! | Return to Monkey Island (BLIND) #18
14My blind let's play/ playthrough of Return to Monkey Island! It's been such a long time coming, and I never expected it, but Return to Monkey Island is finally with us! Ron Gilbert, Dave Grossman and co have released a brand new Monkey Island game that will finally answer the questions we had at the end of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge!
In this episode, we find ourselves at the bottom of the Ocean with Guybrush holding his breath! Looks like it's a 6 minute walk to Monkey Island, so we'd better get a move on! After very nearly all of our time, we find ourselves on the beaches of Monkey Island once again, and it looks stunning! We look around and find a love heart carved into a tree with the initials L+E, which takes Guybrush a while to decipher, and then we head off to use our Map! We make our way to the Red Berry Bush and follow the directions to reach the X! There's even a Free Shovel waiting for us that we can dig with! Nothing suspicious going on here! Of course it's a trap set by Captain Madison and the other Pirate Leaders, but they'd actually set it for LeChuck! It turns out they had the real map all along and ours was a fake! We team up with them to get the info we need to enchant the real map, with the plan to triple cross their double cross as soon as we can!
