Carbon bills itself as a scifi aRPG - and you can see a lot of its development keystones being inspired by Path of Exile and Last Epoch - while the story isn't available yet - the combat actually feels pretty good, and the skill trees aren't the wild mess than PoE's are, but maintain about the same level of complexity.
