Imagine all the defense mission in HnD, make it so that you don't have time to position your teammates, set it in night so you can't see anything, put enemies that can see through that darkness, put barely any cover (that works anyway), and have a couple motorized MG42s appear.

That plus the usual shenanigans and you got yourself one hell of a pain train.
