Ittle Dew 2 is a Links Awakening like top down Action Adventure and like the name suggests the second game. But what is different of the second part is, that the game is less puzzle oriented and follows a bit more the fighting part.

You are also free to go everywhere and i didn't encounter any boundaries yet, that hold me back to traverse the island. I played the game longer than the video, since i got a bit lost before i reached the third dungeon, so i only show here my gameplay up to succeeding the second dungeon. Which is why i can say this about the map. The only thing that kinda holds me back to go into these regions are the enemies, since they get more dangerous on the later parts of the game.

Like the first game, it is filled with wacky humour and weird enemies, but i honestly liked the style of the first game more. Ittle Dew 2 is fully 3D, which means, that the enemies are now alligning more with the landscape. On a 2D game, the sprite can be nearly flat as in a Sidescroller, and no one would bat an eye, but in 3D you can do that only to a certain part, without making it look weird.
This means, that you barely can see the faces of the enemies, which you could in the first game.
Gameplaywise i like Ittle Dew 2 more for it's more open landscape and for being a bit more battle oriented, but i read reviews of the puzzle fans, that didn't like that concept so much and that they wished it would have harder puzzles.
