If you've done the quest where you fight against the Holy Beast of Earth before the final dungeon,
you can actually make your choice to skip the Chancellor battle.
Oh wow Frantz is back to normal since Ishmelga's brainwash is weakened (DUDE~~~).
Welp with the blessing from Holy Beast of Earth, Rean somehow managed to repel Ishmelga, but now he became The Great One whose image surely reminds me of Deus from Shining Resonace (Refrain).
For the boss battle, his.. "shoulders" will form reflect barriers and increase both DEF and ADF.
The red giant is best for physical types while the blue bird one is the best for magical types.
I placed Vita in Team Rean who's in charge of the main host because her Order increases the given damage up to 100% and how friggin' cool is that?
Take too long to defeat the main host, those shoulders will rise again and form a reflect barrier on the host.
Big Thumbs up to Rean for slicing Ishmelga's malicious will for good!
D'oh~~ Frantz is gone and his sacrifice gave Sharon a great excuse to serve for Reinford Family for eternity and Crow became
a normal person not undead.
Meanwhile, Cedric decided to abandon his Crown Prince title and become the enforcer of Ouroboros so that monarchy wouldn't be so.. dishonored even though people are not gonna execute him for what he has done.
Rufus got arrested as a responsibility for what the Chancellor has done.
Of course, Calvard criticized the Erebonia greatly and who did not see this coming.
Good thing that Monarchy somehow halted the nobles who almost got too excited after Chancellor Osbourne's death has been
officially announced, let alone Bracer Guild's restriction is gone.
More importantly, welcome back Milli~~ ;_;.
So let me say what are my thoughts, opinions, what I liked and disliked about this game and entire Trails of Cold Steel games.
My thoughts is... it's quite decent JRPG from Falcom.
I've never played the entire series (Liberl Arc and Crossbell Arc), but playing from Trails of Cold Steel 1 surely wasn't something
I regret for.
Probably my only complain about this game... is that motion for the game is bit abysmal which.. decently makes sense since Falcom isn't a big company like Big N (you know who I'm talking about eh?) and the juvenile styled dialogues WILL make your fingers and toes wiggle in awkward.
Can I say that Falcom really grind their teeth to end off this game nicely after listening to their fans worldwide?
Falcom, I'm so glad you did that and proved me wrong who presumed the ending would be super crappy and I'm so sorry for doubting you.
What I liked:
- Waifus~~~
- Decent Turn-Based system.
- Character development in personality during the story progress.
- Bond Events. People may disagree with me, but I think it was a
nice element to add.
- A+, S rank seiyuus/VAs made listening to character's voice
tubular. Some VAs had to be changed, but they were awesome.
Shoutout out to 6/10(or more I guess) of Aoni Production Voice
Artists.. :3
What I disliked:
- Quests. Like I mentioned, some of the quests take an hour or even longer to complete.
- Juvenile-styled dialogue. It took me some time to actually get used to it.
- Too many characters. I mean sure for this game, many
protagonists from the past games appear looks good and all,
but having many characters do not result in good ways.
- Huge unbalance of firepower for battle(my biggest pet peeve.)
They really failed to balance out the battle stuff since CSII
I assume.
They add stuff, then they convert the battle mechanic for a bit.
First they added Overdrive, removed it in 3 for Order, and now that
Order isn't as powerful as it was in 3. Break system is bit eesh.
That's pretty much it for my opinions, thoughts, etc.
Anyway, that wraps up for Sen 4 and the entire Erebonia arc of Legend of Heroes.
I certainly enjoyed it despite some of negative stuffs which won't end once I begin.
