This is a song I wrote for and about a friend of mine after an intense and emotional conversation. I tried to capture what he told me into a song, and here we are.

Fun fact: The french horns in the background in the softer piano parts is always improv'd. None of those instances are the same.

With help from my father and his sound studio, I was able to to make a bit of a different song. Depending on what happens, I may make all future song vocals with his assistance.

They always were there no matter where I had fled
