Ivy the Kiwi? is a platformer developed by Prope, a studio founded by Sonic the Hedgehog creator Yuji Naka. The game was originally released on Windows Mobile (Japan-only) back in 2009, while the retail versions on Wii and DS came out a year later. The original Japanese version had a muted color scheme, but was changed to more colorful visuals in international releases.

This game's alot of fun anyway, being a unique platformer where your only means of controlling the character is by indirectly placing vines ahead of them. Ivy the Kiwi? can get skillfully tricky on later levels, some of which I found myself raging at. The initial game itself is fairly shortly: levels are split out into five subsections each in ten stages. However you do unlock bonus stages following this which add other modifiers to the challenge. I got Ivy the Kiwi? for £5 from the online retailer I bought it off. If you can find it for a similar price, I suggest you pick it up.
