Around 61 minutes to beat after just beating the Famicom Disk System version, called Iron Commando. This was almost a 1 CC but I didnt use the safe method on the final form of the final boss. I had not tested it at that point, but now I know it will work, as I used it on my last continue to win. I got to the final stage with the max of 8 lives, so the 1 CC should be completed and posted up with commentary very soon. I died either once or twice prior to the final stage.

This version has some extra enemies, traps and tricks, longer stages with a wider play area (horizontal scrolling) compared to the japanese version, so I had to improvise in the moment since this was my first time trying the US version again solo in a while. Only ever beat this version on 2 players, so the solo completion is new. This was many years ago. I believe I was on my final continue, as shown but got through with the safe final boss method. I show some second loop gameplay. It seems slightly faster and harder but not a huge difference. Maybe I will do a second loop playthrough in the future as another challenge.
